Research Interests

Dr Irudhaya (Rajesh) Johnsam is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management in the Flinders Business (FB) at the College of Business, Government & Law, Flinders University. Rajesh holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour/Leadership from Anna University, India and Masters in Psychology, MBA in HRM and Master of Communication & Journalism. He has received specialised training in U.S with American Management Association and Graduate School USDA, Washington DC on Organisational Behavior and training and development skills.

Dr Rajesh Johnsam has over 10 years of industry experience as a training and development consultant and 9 plus years of teaching experience in India and Australia. Before joining Flinders, he was a faculty of University of South Australia and Australian Institute of Business (AIB). He has taught various HRM, OB and leadership courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Rajesh has published in top peer-reviewed journals including Personnel Review, Management in Education (UK SAGE) and international conference proceedings. His current research interests are of inter-disciplinary in nature ranging from leadership, organisational behaviour, hospitality, disaster tourism and HRM. As a researcher, he believes in ‘research to practice’ philosophy.
