Research Biography

Regina has worked at the Student Learning Centre since 2003 as a lecturer/academic adviser. Her background is in Communication Skills, Education and TESOL. At the SLC, Regina currently coordinates the English Language Support Program for NESB students.

Research Interests

Student expereince of mid-year entry, student understanding of academic writing and referencing conventions, acquisition of academic literacy of transitioning students, the first year experience, self-efficacy and academic support, mature-age students
