Academic, with a long history in researching the nervous system, particularly in the study of neuronal growth factors and their function in the development and maintenance of brain function. In excess of 150 publications in leading journals including Nature, J Neuroscience, Europ J Neuroscience, National Academy of Sciences, proceedings.
