Research Biography

Dr Romi Sinha is a Clinical Information Analyst in Blood Organ & Tissue Programs at SA Health. She is a medical graduate (MBBS) from India and trained in Paediatrics& Neonatology and Transfusion Medicine.

Her main role as a Clinical Information Analyst is managing SA Blood Utilisation project that involves analysing blood and blood product utilisation in public sector hospitals, designing and implementing a database structure for feedback of blood utilisation data to hospitals, clinical networks and other relevant parties and assisting other health units with provision of data and research methodology.

She is involved in research programs, leading or participating in a number of local, national and international research-based transfusion projects.
