Research Biography

Dr Rosalie Yandell is an allied health professional committed to advancing both educational and policy aspects of allied health workforce development.  She has a background of over 25 years’ experience across and intersecting the public health system leading service delivery and design, practice-informed research, and health workforce development. Key publications include Australia’s first dietetic extended scope of practice (ESOP), which catalysed the development of other allied health ESOPs, and a systematic review on malnutrition in critical illness which was included in the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition’s Continuing Education program. Her teaching philosophy views education as a vehicle for change and she has a growing interest in system and organisational influences of interprofessional education and practice. She is passionate about building capacity for innovation and impact in the future health workforce, particularly in the allied health professions.
