Dr Rozi Binte Rahmat commenced her career as a humanities teacher teaching Years 7 to 11 in Singapore. She was appointed as a Senior Teacher early in her teaching career because of her passion towards quality learning, teaching and assessment. After her PhD at Flinders University, she returned to Singapore as an Academy Officer posted to the Academy of Singapore Teachers, supporting teachers to foster a teacher-led culture of collaborative professionalism and continuous learning and improvement. Rozi took the position as a Teaching Fellow at the National Institute of Singapore (Nanyang Technological University), teaching the Teachers-Leader, Middle Management Leadership and other professional learning workshops related to assessment to build Singaporean teacher's capacity to be effective, relevant and responsive educators.
