Personal profile

Research Biography

Research Fellow and Project Manager at the Flinders Factory of the Future, with over a decade of experience in industry-engaged research and advanced manufacturing. My core focus is on identifying real-world industry challenges and translating them into applied research projects that leverage advanced technologies—including robotics, digital twins, AR/VR, and automation—with the goal of delivering practical, high-impact outcomes for industry partners. I play a key role in the $6 million Manufacturing Growth Accelerator (MGA) Program, contributing to over $800,000 in awarded research funding to date. My responsibilities span project scoping, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and execution, ensuring that research activities are both academically rigorous and commercially relevant. I actively shape technology roadmaps, monitor emerging trends, and support SME capability uplift through collaborative research. My academic work includes developing transdisciplinary partnerships, leading workshops, and delivering guest lectures in engineering project management and MBA programs. I recently completed a part-time, industry-focused PhD investigating dynamic capabilities for Industry 4.0 innovation in Australian heavy industry. With a strong foundation in both research and practice, I am committed to bridging the gap between academic inquiry and industry application—advancing innovation, supporting transformation, and delivering measurable value to the manufacturing sector.
