His research aims at elucidating deep aspects of human motion focusing on bone strength and metabolism, orthopaedic devices, physical activity, and muscle function. Honorary member of the University of Melbourne. Member of the European Society of Biomechanics (ESB), the Australian & New Zeeland Orthopaedic Society (ANZORS) and the Australian Biomechanics society (ABC).
