Research Biography
Dr Bihari is a senior ICU consultant within SALHN working at Flinders Medical Centre ICU and Professor with College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University.
After his MD and intensive care training he completed his PhD and was the recipient of Vice Chancellor Award for Thesis Excellence and Early Career Research Excellence.
He has published over 140 peer review articles and 4 book chapters.
He has been the recipient of many research grants and is the founding member of the ANZICS pre-clinical research group.
His area of interest are physiological effects of intravenous fluids, lung injury research and care of tracheostomy patients.
