Research Biography

Shaowen joined the School of Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics in 2005.   She worked for Motorola Global Software Group as a senior staff engineer and program manager from 1997 to 2005. She was a lecturer at the National University of Singapore from 1993 to 1997.

Research Interests

Shaowen's current research interests include problem identification and design optimisation of complex processes and socio-technical systems through modeling and simulation; and uncertainty management and decision support methodologies for software engineering and hospital care capacity planning.
