Dr Sharyn Goudie is currently a Research Fellow at the Social Work Innovation Research Living Space (SWIRLS). She has a PhD in Sociology, Criminology and Gender Studies and a Masters' in Public Administration. Prior to academia, Sharyn has worked for fifteen years in the not-for-profit sector working with young people and those experiencing homelessness and mental ill-health. Sharyn is particularly focused on the intersection of social policy and vulnerable parties. More recently, Sharyn has been working on projects focused on 'Strengthening the Domestic and Family Violence Workforce' and 'A Home Centred Approach to Support Children and Young People in Care'.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
