Research Biography

My PhD was awarded for using UV/visible lasers and molecular calculations to understand chemical reactions relating to silicon and germanium thin-films. Postdoctoral research at Flinders resulted in the development of a powerful laser-based technique for studying molecules and small clusters.

At Flinders I am involved in teaching for physics and chemistry topics. I have worked previously in Research Administration - managing the Researcher Mentoring Scheme, supporting ARC grant applications and the ERA 2015 submission.

Research Interests

Laser-based detection of trace compounds at a distance.

Weak molecular interactions studied using lasers and ab initio computational chemistry methods.
