Career Highlights
Virginia’s funding highlights include being a project member for a 2021 $240,442 Department of Education and Training Victoria grant, which focused on developing professional learning and best practice resources for foundation teachers using differentiated play-based inquiry learning. From 2018 to 2022, she co-led a $150,000 project with Catholic Education South Australia with Dr. David Moltow (University of Tasmania), examining the cultivation of critical learning dispositions through students’ learning of mathematical pattern and structure. Additionally, in 2022-2023, she was part of a $10,000 Deakin Design Seeding Grant project aimed at enhancing student engagement and retention through integrated teaching, learning, and assessment.
