Dr Xiaodan Huang received his PhD in Inorganic Chemistry in 2012 from Fudan University, China. Since obtaining his PhD, Dr Huang has been dedicated to research-focused positions at Australian institutions, starting with the University of Technology Sydney (2012-2014) and continuing at the University of Queensland (2015-2025). Dr Huang’s career has been supported by securing competitive fellowships, including UQ postdoc fellowship (2015-2018), Advance Queensland Industry Research Fellowship and UQ Research Stimulus (2019-2024), and the ARC Future Fellowship starting from 2025. In January 2026, Dr Xiaodan Huang commences the Senior Research Fellow position at Flinders University.
