Research Biography
Dr Danny Tsai is a nationally recognised leader in antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases pharmacology, and antimicrobial dosing, with a strong focus on First Nations health and remote healthcare settings.
He holds senior academic and clinical leadership roles as:
- Senior Research Fellow, Flinders University
- Acting Director of Clinical Research, Alice Springs Hospital
Dr Tsai leads interdisciplinary research programs that directly inform clinical practice and policy in remote Australia. His work has resulted in high-impact publications, national guideline contributions, and competitive research funding.
He has received multiple prestigious awards, including:
- Pharmacist of the Year (PSA SA/NT, 2019)
- NT Allied Health Excellence in Research Award (2023)
