From 2004-2007 Dr. Jones was a recipient of the Ferry Scholarship, funded at the bequest of the late Cedric Arnold Seth Ferry for the purpose of promoting study and research in the scientific fields of physics and chemistry.
This scholarship is available to students undertaking Honours or equivalent programmes at a South Australian university, and has provided support to some of South Australia's most prestigious scientists.
