Description
• ‘’Big Talks for Little People’’ is an evidence-based mental health program developed in 2020 in partnership with Flinders University for children (7-13yrs).
• The program develops understanding around thoughts, feeling and behaviours normalising the mental health and wellbeing conversation.
• The program has reduced bullying incidents by 25% and improved the mental health of children.
• Big Talks is supported by animated characters to overcome cultural identification challenges.
• The program is supported by 6 classroom lessons, animations and teacher information sheets.
• The purpose of this this grant is to adapt and deliver the program in a culturally appropriate manner and measure the impacts.
