Project Details
Description
This project aims to map the current regional governance of climate change and migration in the South Pacific (so called ‘Australia-New Zealand-Pacific’ or ‘ANZ-Pacific’ region), especially critically examining the role of Australia and France and the contribution of the Pacific Islands Countries and French overseas territories. The project also aims to explore the impact of technology and its regulatory framework over the application of technology, including automated decision making and generative AI in this area as technology impacts significantly on many aspects, including opportunities like digital identity and challenges such as misinformation brought by technology.
