Description
Determining attitudes towards the major drivers of community resilience for input into the established Resilience Toolkit. This work will explore the attitudes of citizens towards the named capitals explored in the current project and their views with respect to their relative importance to community resilience to Drought but also other threats to the continued existence and prosperity of the community more broadly.
Sample of 500 residents of the Loxton Waikerie Council over the age of 18, gender balanced to be recruited via a panel research company. Cost $5000 (GST Inclusive)
The research team will undertake the refinement of the existing questionnaire in line with our discussions yesterday and undertake uploading to our survey software, gaining ethics approval and pretesting. We will also complete the analysis of all data and the provision of a full report and, if desired, a presentation to yourselves or other stakeholders to be determined. The questionnaire and associated data analysis methods, as also discussed, will form part of a bigger project that we plan to collaboratively scope. Again, as per our discussions, we will determine the next dates for funding for the SA Disaster Risk Reduction grants.
