Project focus
This project will investigate how to increase farmer engagement in projects and increase the effective adoption of drought and climate resilience practices and technologies.
Project aims
The key aims of the project are to:
-Understand the barriers / challenges to farmer participation and opportunities and strategies to overcome these
-Understand the enablers of farmer participation
-Understand what moves farmers from engagement to action
-Identify opportunities to enhance project design and delivery for greater inclusion offered by these enablers and barriers
-Identify opportunities offered by these enablers and barriers to tailor communications to engage a wider farmer audience and to clearly communicate the value proposition of participation in projects and programs.
