Investigating an effective cobot adoption in probe manufacturing processes

This project aims to demonstrate an optimised cobot adoption incorporating different tools for probe production at Sentek. Using the advanced facilities and technical expertise of the Flinders Factory of the Future, the project will focus on investigating and developing the practical implementation of the cobot technology.
The approach includes three phases: defining and designing optimised cobot adoption, developing and testing the automated production setup through simulations and on-site trials, and delivering recommendations for system adoption. The project will examine key factors such as automated cobot work cell setup, tools, layout, while also optimising operator job design to ensure a smooth integration of cobot technology.
