Literature scan: Approaches, design and impact of learning design policies

Project Details

Description

The world is changing, how we study and learn to thrive has to change. With the rapid improvements in educational technology and evolving pedagogical paradigms, the role of learning design policies has become fundamental in shaping the landscape of effective teaching and learning. How can we strategically approach, meticulously design, and comprehensively assess the impact of these policies to optimise educational outcomes? This research contract delves into the nuanced dimensions of learning design policies, aiming to provide insights that will inform the future of educational policy and its implementation.
Flinders University provides the South Australian Department for Education with a literature review/report to explore the existing landscape of learning design policies, the various approaches, the designs and their impacts.

The literature review will take the form of an ‘environmental scan’ focusing on information related to learning design policies from international and national government education departments; academic journals; educational think tanks and research organisations; education policy institutes; conferences and official education reports and statistics between 2015 and 2022.
