Description
This large scale, long term project considers the ways in which popular romance fiction contains and engages with cultural anxieties, particularly fraught, anxious, worrisome issues such as feminism and heterosexual love; colonies and idealised historical fictions; and the relationship between fantasy spaces and the real.
