Project Details
Description
Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) in rural communities have an increased risk of mortality, morbidity, hospitalization and worse quality of life and this increases with increasing remoteness and socioeconomic disadvantage. In partnership with patients and caregivers, I will generate new knowledge on outcome measures of access to healthcare that are important to rural patients with CKD, and lead efforts to improve access through the co-design of novel interventions that address the inequities.
