Description

The Antecedents of Renal Disease in Aboriginal Children (ARDAC) Study is a population-based longitudinal cohort study comparing early markers of chronic kidney and cardiovascular disease in Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal children and young adults. The ARDAC Study was established in 2002. It is a 17-year prospective observational cohort study which began by recruiting primary school children (average age 8.9-years) and continued to follow them into early adulthood.
