Abstract

Coordination and collaboration among the government, educational institutions, teachers, parents, and learners can be considered as some of the most fundamental factors for the success of education in critical conditions, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on this, attention should be paid to the lessons learned from these critical conditions, and they should be constantly evaluated, even during the post-COVID era. Consistent and principled government decisions in the realm of online education, even when not facing a crisis, help maintain the preparedness of educational institutions, teachers, parents, and learners in critical situations. From this perspective, COVID-19 can be seen as an early warning signal for future critical conditions, especially for decision-makers and policymakers, encouraging them to assess the educational system rigorously and set clear priorities for improving online education.
