Abstract

The crystalline supramolecular complex [Sr(H₂O)₈][(CH₃CN)∩(CTV)]₄(H ₂O)₄[Co(C₂B₉H₁₁) ₂]₂ features [(CH₃CN)∩(CTV)] host-guest interactions, back-to-back tetrameric clusters of CTV host molecules and an extensive hydrogen bonding giving a 3,12-connected net.
