Abstract

Brown anoles (Anolis sagrei) were collected for stomach-content analysis from an area surrounding a plant nursery (23°25'51''N, 120°28'30''E) in Santzepu, Sheishan District, Chia-Yi County. Tissue sampling revealed liver lesions, which were later identified as hepatic granulomas, in two individuals. This appears to be the first record of hepatic granuloma in A. sagrei in Taiwan.
