Abstract

In December 2019, the world became aware of a highly contagious, unnamed virus. Since then the virus has been identified as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)1 and steps have been taken globally to limit its transmission. In Australia and New Zealand, borders were closed to non-residents from March 2020 and a stay-at-homeif-possible directive ensued. Businesses and workplaces closed and this included universities physical campuses.
