    Abstract

    A ‘scoping review’ of the academic and grey literature was conducted to address the question: What evidence exists on determinants of workforce participation for older people? ‘Older’ was defined as aged 45 and above. This summary only highlights selected key references from a comprehensive range of literature
    that was located during our search process. To interpret the evidence on this topic, the following framework was developed by combining the WHO Active Ageing Policy Framework and the Social Determinants of Health mode
