Abstract

In this chapter, we discuss the variety of settings in which CPT has been disseminated. We discuss factors that are associated with levels of success in CPT dissemination and sustainability as well as the organizational factors that may influence how well CPT is adopted and sustained. We review learning strategies that have been used in the implementation of CPT, and the ways in which they can be helpful in supporting the acquisition of CPT skills. Finally, we discuss the role of fidelity in CPT outcomes and evaluate when flexibility within the treatment model is helpful or likely to reduce clinical outcomes.
