Abstract

Review of the First Australian Workshop on Rock Picture Dating which was held at Lucas Heights, Sydney, from 8th to 10th February, 1996. The first day was devoted to discussions by hard scientists, the second day to discussions by archaeologists and the third day to general discussion. Interesting comment by Aboriginal man Ken Isaacson who was concerned about uncoordinated 'waves' of sampling. Detailed discussions of sampling problems.
