Abstract
This literature review forms part of the preliminary investigation relating to the
development of a concept option(s) for a Knowledge Network for palliative care in
Australia. The review sought to identify the significant trends relating to the use of
IT and the internet in health and palliative care, the key concepts relating to
knowledge management and its application within palliative care, and the existing
research and evidence relating to contents and functions that could potentially be
included on a Knowledge Network.
