Abstract

Dear Editor,
Anti-synthetase syndrome (ASSD), a subtype of the idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIM), has heterogenous clinical features including myositis, interstitial lung disease (ILD), fever, mechanic's hands, and Raynaud's phenomenon and autoantibodies directed against one of the aminoacyl tRNA synthetase enzymes.
