Abstract

Full wrist arthrodesis is indicated in individuals with end-stage radiocarpal and midcarpal arthritis. It is commonly performed as an open procedure, necessitating an extensive dorsal approach with attendant insult to soft tissues. Advances in arthroscopic techniques have enabled the evolution of surgical practice, allowing the achievement of surgical goals with less trauma to tissues. Steps for performing arthroscopic full wrist fusion are presented in this chapter.
