N2 - This review paper presents a concise summary selected plasma-assisted catalyst preparation and pre-treatment methods. It provide classification of reported plasma techniques used for catalyst preparation and give examples for their applications. The paper also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of plasma-assisted methods for the synthesis of catalytic materials. The challenges associated with the use of plasma in the preparation of catalytic materials are also presented. The opportunities for the application of plasma in the preparation of catalysis for generation of advanced materials and improving industrial processes are also highlighted.
