The Australian Institute of Criminology (AIV) is Australia's national research and knowledge centre on crime and justice. It conducts and publishes research, including crime data and trend information, that informs crime and justice policy and practice in Australia. It is based in Canberra, Australia's capital city and home of the federal parliament.
