Abstract

It is with great pleasure that we introduce this special conference issue of the International Journal of Speech-Language Pathology (IJSLP), comprising papers from the 2022 Speech Pathology Australia National Conference. The conference was held in beautiful Melbourne, named the most liveable city in Australia and in the top 10 most liveable cities in the world in 2022 (State Government of Victoria, Citation2023). The conference brought together almost 800 Australian, New Zealand, and international speech-language pathologists (SLPs) face-to-face for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns.
