Abstract
In 2015, Respirology celebrates its 20th year of publication, which is marked by the journal's transition from ‘print and online’ to ‘online‐only’ publication. Since Respirology published its first issue in 1996, it has grown rapidly in content and status. The journal's 20th anniversary therefore deserves a review of its journey to date, as well as a look into its future.
