Challenging Assumptions about Credibility

    Abstract

Law and Legal Process operate through people; judges, lawyers, witnesses, clients and others. Often, it is necessary to decide whom to listen, to whom to rely on, whom to believe, and whose statements are more persuasive or more credible. (Credibility, in this sense, includes the ability to be heard and taken seriously in a range of situations, as well as truth telling or conversely, lying in court.)
