Abstract

A film revealing the qualitative outcomes of Climate Justice: Visual Expressions of Reconciliation and Climate Custodianship for Change, a 2022 First Nations project that harnessed Indigenous methods and methodologies as the approach to research. Focused on discovering nexus between Australian First Nations Custodians of Country and Ally students, this participatory workshop created enriching opportunities for conversations about valuable place-based experiences which then inspired their active engagement in creating climate activism posters surrounding Country. This project was funded by Western Sydney Creative and facilitated in partnership with UTP and the Wollotuka Institute, UON. The project team included Madison Shakespeare, Dr Michelle Catanzaro, Dr Caelli Brooker, Dr Jess Olivieri, Dr Rachel Morley and Dr Katrina Sandbach.
