Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Clinical reasoning (CR) is an essential component of any health professional's practice. CR is the sum of the thinking and decision-making processes associated with clinical practice (Jones et al 2018). It has been defined as 'a process in which the therapist, interacting with significant others (e.g., family and other healthcare team members), structures meaning, goals and health management strategies based on clinical data, client choices and professional judgement and knowledge' (Jones & Rivett 2004).
