Abstract

The authors regret that the logit transformation in the second paragraph of section 2.3 was incorrectly described. Rather than adding a value of 0.143 to all proportions (as described in the original article), we actually added a value of 0.143 to both the numerator and denominator of the logit function. The second sentence of the second paragraph of section 2.3 should read as follows: “These proportions were logit-transformed, with a value of 0.143 (the minimum non-zero proportion observed) added to both the numerator and denominator of the logit function to allow transformation of 0 and 1 values (Warton and Hui, 2011).” The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
