Abstract
This Discussion Paper is prepared as a key part of the building of an organisational culture for the Caring Futures Institute (CFI) at Flinders University. Its purpose is to stimulate discussion and debate about how that culture is built rapidly into a positive culture of performance amongst its Members. Building culture does not happen by chance, nor is it built by one leader or a small group of senior people. It is built by many and is through a carefully considered and managed strategy.
In the first instance, the CFI Leadership Team has considered the paper and discussed the process for engaging with the Membership. The decision was taken to circulate it to the broader Membership, who would be invited to contribute their views about how the culture is built and sustained. A series of facilitated discussions will be commenced in late 2020 and proceed through 2021.
