Abstract

Translation courses at tertiary level do not often include the translation of children’s books. The objective of the described approach is not only for students to familiarize themselves with translation, translation techniques, constraints and difficulties but also to become more familiar with the specificities of this literary genre and to explore a field that is often unknown but still rich and innovating. This article presents an exploratory approach and suggestions for further research.
