Roger J. Rees

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

A rationale for the role of curricula in intervention programmes and the background to the development of language skills curricula precede descriptions of the structure, teaching methods and content of the DELSC (Developmental and Language Skills Curriculum). Issues in the debate about curriculum content are addressed and instructions as to how to use the DELSC are presented. The DELSC as a “state of the art” programme is recommended as a support for children during the important transitional period of language and social skills acquisition.
