Abstract
A 72‐year‐old woman presented with sudden onset of constant upper abdominal pain, nausea and dry retching following an alcohol binge and overnight vomiting. Twelve months previously, she had undergone total gastrectomy for a pT1bN0M0 adenocarcinoma of the gastro‐oesophageal junction.
