Abstract

A dual-band frequency-reconfigurable wearable textile patch antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna achieves wide frequency tuning ranges of 48.6% and 18.3%, with the aim to simultaneously cover the 2.45 and 5.8 GHz Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) radio bands. The proposed antenna is fabricated and measured to validate the concept.
