Editorial: Digital Image Computing Techniques and Applications (DICTA) Conference 2009

    Research output: Contribution to journalEditorial

    Abstract

The conference Digital Image Computing Techniques and Applications (DICTA) is held in December every year in Australia or New Zealand and is the flagship conference hosted by the Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS). The conference provides a forum for researchers in the antipodes as well as Southeast Asia and often from farther afield to present and discuss their work within the broadly defined area of image analysis. In addition, this conference facilitates exposure to, and participation in, the most current worldwide research in this field by bringing internationally recognised experts in various aspects of image analysis to Australia as keynote speakers. Contributed papers are generally of high quality and cover a vast range of image analysis related topics and an even wider range of applications.
