Abstract

We are delighted to present this, our second issue! Its terrain traverses new perspectives on metaphor in relation to Hans Blumenberg, and deepens debates on – and applications of – social imaginary frameworks, including a lively roundtable exchange on constitutional imaginaries (in discussion of Zoran Oklopcic’s Beyond the People: Social Imaginary and Constituent Imagination). It also showcases two recent interviews with major thinkers (Marcel Gauchet and Johann P Arnason, respectively). Each interview addresses aspects within political philosophy and social theory as well as addressing global questions of our time.
